Invading squirrels preparing for lockdown are threatening the green edges. The soft turf by the ditches is proving
an ideal place for the park squirrels to hide their hoard. Could members please shoo the squirrels away if they spot one. Club member Ivor Wobble was bowling last week when a squirrel ran across the green and he took aim with his third wood. "I got closer to the squirrel than I have ever been to the jack" said perpetual runner-up Ivor.
