Thanks to support from numerous club members we did a great job in hosting matches over the first four days. We offered great food, a great bar, a great atmosphere, and great organisation. The catering and bar raised many hundreds of pounds for club funds.
Particular thanks go to:
· Ian and Anita for green set-ups each day and Ian for the competition desk
· Richard and his bar volunteers
· Sandy and her kitchen volunteers. And all the cake and goody bakers
· The car park wardens
· Umpire Barrie Fordham
· All the members who marked singles matches over the first couple of days
· Chris Willing and Paul Boyland who made sure green surrounds were neat and tidy. And Brian Welfare made sure our greens contractors
